Every result comes from the physics. The dice start in random orientations and the app reads the faces that land on top.

Tilt the phone and the table tilts. Dice slide, collide and bounce off the tray walls. If one stops on an edge, the app nudges it until a face is clearly on top.

Tap a die after it settles to keep it out of the next throw. Each face has its own value, so drawings and symbols can count like pips and numbers.

Custom dice

Color, artwork and values

Edit the color, artwork and value of every face.

Give the whole die a color or color one face on its own. A face can show pips, a word, an emoji, a symbol, a drawing or nothing at all. Artwork and value are separate settings.

A set holds one design for each of the six shapes: d4, d6, d8, d10, d12 and d20. The table is not in the set — it stays put when you switch sets. Designing faces is part of the full unlock; rolling the dice is not.

Dice: Each shape keeps its own color, face artwork and values.
Sets: Name a group of dice, switch between sets at the table or send one as a file.
Tables: Choose the felt and rail colors and the size, then make the tray rectangular, round or hexagonal.
Games: Save the sets, dice and table together under one name and load them later.

Privacy

Stored on your phone

Your dice, sets, games and settings are stored on your iPhone.

Dice2Roll has no accounts, adverts or analytics. It asks the App Store if this installation has the unlock. No dice, games or settings are sent with that request.

On the phone: Your sets, games and settings live in the app’s own storage.
Motion: The accelerometer and gyroscope move the table while the app is open. Their readings are not recorded or sent.
Files: Sets and games export as readable JSON files. Sharing starts only when you open the iOS share sheet.
In writing: Read the privacy policy and terms of use before installing anything.
